Busy, Busy, Busy

Wow I haven't noticed how long it has been since i have wrote a blog. Well thanks to the wonderful college of Youngstown State i have been way to busy to even think. The semester is almost over thank goodness! That is the only plus coming out of it. I have every paper you can possibly think of due in three weeks in each of my classes. You may be thinking why... well your guess is as good as mine. I honestly just don't even understand what the point of papers are. Like what am i learning by writing a paper. I didn't know that my major was writing and i needed to learn how to write all these papers. But I guess the only reason why I am complaining is because once again I have waited to the last minute to write these papers. As if it doesn't get worse I have absolutely no motivation what so ever since I am now in the medical field and no longer pursuing my dreams of becoming a teacher. Why am I changing my major you may ask well I soon realized that the only reason I wanted to become a teacher was because one it was a very easy major, and two I would have them summers off. I mean come on what a life! who wouldn't want to go into education with being able to have the summers off. Well I can't stand education, and don't get me wrong I am not putting teachers down in anyway because without teachers we couldn't have some of the jobs we do now. But besides the point I myself just cant see me trying to teach little kids what to do. I cant even control my dog on what they can and cant do and I really cant sit down and focus on one subject at a time my mind is everywhere all the time.If you cant tell by the way I write I just once around topic to topic but i mean that's more fun right? Anyway another reason why you can see that I am not teacher material I am a legit horrible writer I just hate writing seriously I just love being a free writing its more fun that way. So before I change the subject one more time on you I'm going to keep this post so what short because its late I have a headache and i get to enjoy math an nine AM tomorrow YAY me! Anyway enjoy this ramble of thoughts and I do promise to keep up this my posting just as much I can.

Marilyn Monroe said one of my favorite quotes of all time, “To all the girls that think you’re fat because you’re not a size zero, you’re the beautiful one, its society who’s ugly.” This saying has so many good points in it. First of all to all the girls who are getting bullied for being a little bit bigger and for the girls who are being made fun of for being stick skinny you are beautiful in your own skin. In my opinion no one should let someone else's judgments bother them. No matter if they are one of the popular good looking boys in your school, because 9 times out of 10 they are hiding a inner self-esteem. Next the quote says you're the beautiful one, YES take that and run with it ! Everyone is absolutely beautiful in their own way and you need to embrace this because there is more problems in this world then worry about what people are thinking about. Lastly society are the ugly ones. Who makes up these rules about modeling anyway. My question is who says a size 12 is a plus size model when the majority of the United States is a size 12 and that is average if not skinny for some people not in the modeling industry. I also do not agree with how skinny models are being showed off to be. How is it right to show off how skinny girls are and how society wants them to be that skinny, then you have girls starting on diets and not being happy with their body's. They then discover eating disorders, but then society is showing off too skinny models. Now there is a fit skinny and a down right too skinny. People who are fit skinny do not have any problems they look healthy and how they should be. My opinion labels should be banished there should not be a skinny and fat there should just be people. No more calling people fat or skinny no one really knows what is going on deeper inside. That girls that you just called fat or that girl you just called too skinny could be physically hurting their selves. I know you are thinking why is this such a tough subject for you. Well I have always had self confidence issues and I have never felt skinny or pretty enough for anyone. I have also put myself in self harm and depression. These were such dark days in my life all I saw were how boys wanted the skinny beautiful girls and never thought of my self that way. I soon then realized how boys and other peoples opinions do not matter. God has put me on this earth for some reason and I may have not find that reason yet, but god would not be happy knowing that something he created is doing what they are doing. If you are putting yourself in any harm know that you are not alone in anyway. That quiet girl sitting next to you or the star football player could all be putting themselves in some kind of harm. Know that someone loves you and you are stronger then you seem there is a reason that you are here and you can fight through this bump in the road. If I can fight through the months of depression and the weeks of hurting myself just to one day realize it is not worth it so can you. Talk to someone if you have no one to talk to I am always here to talk to anyone. I can it might not be important to you but me helping someone by pulling them out of self harm is important enough for me. If there is one thing you take out of this is that everyone is beautiful and no one opinion is worth anything you do to yourself.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone, since this is my very first blog post i thought why not start with a Halloween post. I know some of you will agree that Halloween is a great holiday. You get to dress up, eat candy, go to parties, watch scary movies, go on haunted hayrides get to walk through haunted houses, what can you not love about that. Halloween really does change as you grow up if you think about it. When you are young you can not wait to go Trick or Treating and see how much candy you get, then once you get into middle school trick or treating isn't as cool as you once thought it was. You start to get older and the costumes start to get sexier then you once thought they were its crazy how time just flies by. Before you know it you are not a teenager any more and the costumes get smaller and more risky but that's all in the fun right? I am in my twenties and i must have to agree i do think the sexier the costume the better don't get me wrong i like a little attention but i also do respect myself i like to have the main parts of my body clothed. I rather not give boys the wrong impression of me because us girls know how some of those boys out there can be. If you did not catch that yes i mean boys not men there are some men out there in this world just hard to find. The boys that are in college are boys some just look for one thing but enough of that we are all young right? why not just make the most of it i see nothing wrong with having a little fun while you are young, as long as its the right kind of fun. So since its Halloween everyone go out drink in your sexy cute Halloween costume and finally get the courage to go talk to that hot boy you have always wanted too!
